Lake Forest abounds with recreational opportunities, including a 25-meter pool, adult pool, family pool, and two toddler pools. There are three tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, paved nature trail and a sports (soccer) field. Lake Forest offers three community play areas with swings, climbers, and slides for children.

Pools
HOURS OF OPERATION - Pools & Wading Pool (during Swim & Dive Meets the pool hours will be posted in newsletter and on the pool bulletin board)
- Monday* - Saturday 11:00 am. - 9:00 p.m.
- Sunday 11:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Monday—The 25-Meter Pool will open at 2:00 p.m. on Mondays.
The 25-meter pool will be closed all day on scheduled Home Swim Meet days.
The Adult pool and Baby pool at the Lodge will close at 4:00 p.m. on scheduled Home Swim Meet days. Swim and Dive Meet dates will be posted at the pool.
Adult Pool: The Adult Pool is restricted to persons age 18 and older at all times (even when the 25-Meter Pool is closed.) No Exceptions.
Wading Pools: Wading Pools are for the benefit and enjoyment of children 5 years old and under. Children using the wading pools must be accompanied at all times by parents or responsible baby-sitters who are are present in the immediate deck area surrounding the wading pool.
Guest passes may be purchased at the lodge, during normal business hours. The cost for a card is $10.00 for five guests and $20.00 for ten guests. The card must be presented to the lifeguard on duty and punched. THE LIFEGUARDS WILL ACCEPT NO CASH.

Swim/Dive Team
The Lake Forest Swim Team Chair is Lori Watson. She can be contacted at 502-244-9379 for information and to send a registration form. These forms may be obtained in the lodge office, also. The Dive Team Chair is Mike Richardson and he can be contacted at 502-245-0133. Eligible swimmers are ages 5-17, and capable of swimming the length of the pool. ALL swimmers are welcome, regardless of skill level. Fee is $80, due at time of registration. There are approximately five meets during the summer, with qualifications and championships the middle of July.
Tennis Courts
Hours of Operation - Dawn until Dusk, 7 days per week.
The courts are for the use and enjoyment of Association members and their guests. A member must accompany guests on the courts.
Management must approve league play/practice.
Food and alcoholic beverages may not be brought onto the court, and all litter must be disposed of properly.
Players shall wear clothing appropriate to the tennis courts. Shirts must be worn at all times. Swimwear is not permitted on the tennis courts.
Only soft-soled tennis shoes shall be permitted on the tennis courts.
RESERVATIONS AND WALK-ON TIME (Memorial Day – Labor Day)
Reservations may be made one day in advance by signing the reservation sheet posted on the tennis court bulletin board.
Each member may play at reserved time (and also walk-on time if others are not waiting to use the courts) a MAXIMUM of 1 hour per day for singles, or 1-1/2 hours per day for doubles.
The full names of all persons playing at reserved time shall be written on the reservation sheet at the time the reservation is made. Guests are also to be listed and guest fees applied.
Adults have priority over juniors under age 16 in using the courts ONLY on weekdays after 5:00 p.m. and ALL DAY on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. During these times however, if no adults are waiting to play and the courts are not reserved, juniors may claim a court and play until the next hour (12:00, 1:00, 2:00, etc.) without surrendering the court to any adult members who may arrive.
A reservation shall be held 10 minutes past the reserved starting time. After that, the court is available for walk-on play.
Players shall surrender the courts to leagues and tennis camps scheduled by Management; no matter what time the players claimed the court.

Stretch-N-Flex (Weekly)
Kathleen Macke holds a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and a certified Personal Trainer by the American College of Sports Medicine, YMCA and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. This is a great class for any age and all fitness levels.
Class meets Wednesday Mornings, 9:30 a.m. -10:15 a.m.

Water Aerobics
The classes are offered during the summer at the Arnold Palmer Pool. The middle of July, the classes move to the Lodge 25 meter pool.
It is an excellent cardiovascular workout in the water! Aqua Fitness Classes are held at the Palmer Pool. Classes are one hour, starting at 9:00 a.m. Classes meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fee per class is $8.00. The instructor provides all equipment. Our classes are not only a great workout, but also a chance to meet some of your neighbors. To register for classes, or for more information please call Debbie Poulter at 502-220-0061.
Lakes
No swimming or wading is permitted in the lake.
No watercraft shall be permitted in or upon the lakes, except for maintenance or safety purposes.
Ice skating or walking on the frozen surface of the lakes is not permitted.
Catch and release fishing by members and their guests is permitted in the lakes behind the Lodge from the nature trail and its banks only and subject to state laws. The lakes located on Woodland Ridge Drive and Champion Lakes Place may be fished by
members and their guests between the signs marked “No Fishing Beyond This Point” only and are subject to state law.
Association security may ask for identification. All other lakes are owned and maintained by the Lake Forest Country Club. Fishing is not allowed by members or their guests unless the member’s property backs up to such lake. Lake Forest Country Club rules may apply.
Shooting of ducks or other wildlife is not permitted.
Nature Trails
The nature trail may be used from dawn until dusk.
The nature trail is for the use and enjoyment of Association members and their guests only.
Use of the trail is restricted to pedestrian traffic. Bicycles, mini-bikes, skateboards, scooters and skates are not permitted.
Rowdy or obscene behavior shall not be permitted. Radios and cassette players shall not be operated except with earphones.
Community Park-Soccer Field
This area is open year long for member use from dawn until dusk.
The pavilion may be reserved by contacting the lodge at 502-245-5243.
Food and drink may be brought onto premises, but must be disposed of properly. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.
This area is for the pleasure of Association members and guests and is to be used primarily for soccer, walking, and jogging. No organized league play or practice is allowed without prior Management approval. A fee will be associated with rental of field.
Sand Volleyball Court
The volleyball court is located next to the lodge at 511 Woodlake Drive. Play can be organized between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Contact the lodge at 502-245-5253 for additional information.
